Search a consortium of 65 Illinois libraries that include state and private colleges and universities, community colleges, the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, and the Illinois State Library. If you find an item that you would like to request, contact the staff of the Shelbyville Public Library and we will be happy to assist you.
Automobile Repair Reference Center
The content includes more than 150 easy-to-read, illustrated auto repair manuals on all auto repair procedures for about 21,000 vehicles identified in the AAIA table (a table of numerical ID codes for every car made); more than 56,000 Technical Service Bulletins; wiring diagrams; and labor time estimates. Text and many images will be available in PDF and GIF format.

A one-stop source for news and periodical articles on a wide range of topics: business, computers, current events, economics, education, environmental issues, health care, hobbies, humanities, law, literature and art, politics, science, social science, sports, technology, and many general interest topics. Millions of full-text articles, many with images. Updated daily.

NoveList is a fiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 120,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Feature Articles. For school media specialists and teachers there are Standards-Based Thematic Units and Picture Book Extenders, as well as specific teaching guides for using fiction in the classroom.
NoveList K-8
NoveList K-8 allows you to discover the fiction titles that are popular with young readers as well as titles to use in your classroom. The NoveList Learning Center provides a complete introduction to the product and shows you how to use NoveList to meet the reading needs of your students. NoveList K-8 contains materials for all K-8 grade levels and includes picture books, children's "chapter" books and young adult titles.
